THE DEAD MARINE

The dead Marine was a 24 year old and a cousin to my wife had been wounded in a fire fight and bleed to death while waiting for the helicopter. Hero; gave the Ultimate sacfrice for his country.
When we went to visit the funeral home I was struck buy how small this killer of people was. His uniforms-the dress Blues and the green of the Corp.W ere on a board beside him. Corp always wanted young killers..The people came and went the sorrow was over illuming ....I reflect of the loss the person who killed him the lose on both side is terrible..Why must we kill in the name of peace.......Semph Phi David....
